Gratitude - Day 2

While it was perhaps the rose in the bouquet which inspired me to start this photographic journal, I'd be a fool's fool if I didn't post, right at the start of this endeavor, a photo of my Prince Charming - who has single-handedly made me understand the magnitude of true gratitude. Grazie, Amore!

To take stock of the things we are grateful for every day is a noble idea. Thanks for the inspiration!

Yay for Prince Charming!! It was great to see him around the Met, but it made me miss YOU! :)

If you haven't done so already, will you post (or email) details about your camera? I'm lusting in my heart...

ACB!! I second your "yea!" And to settle your lust (at least for the camera ;-), it is a Canon Rebel XTI WHICH I LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! I primarily am using 2 lenses (they carry a big enough learning curve on their own, so any branching out of lenses will come over time): a 50 mm fixed portrait lens (which is a very modest investment of about $80?), and a long zoom: 70-300 mm, with image stabalization. That will set you back a bit more, but it was a great investment for me - that's where I get a lot of my zoom shots, and in low lighting. One of the most joy-inducing things I've ever bought!! DO IT, make the plunge, and share your pics soon!!!

CHEERS!
