Gratitude - Day 84

I'm grateful to be in a city with such strong civic pride, and such a STRONG affinity with my holiday: St. Patrick's Day! Everywhere you turn shamrocks are chasing you, (this one pasted on the window of Enterprise Rental Car's downtown store), and everyone is waiting for the river to be dyed green! It's an exciting time to be in such a vibrant, chilly city!

Did you say the river will be dyed green??? That should make for some interesting photos!! I'm coming to Chicago next week and arriving on St. Patrick's Day. What am I getting myself into? :)

Thanks! I'm sure I will! I'm coming specifically to see Barbiere next Wednesday with a few extra days to visit the city. I can't wait! :)

Regarding my other comment about not looking at the sidewalk... my 5th grade music teacher told us once not to stare at the sidewalk as we walked... and it's stuck with me all these years! Must be a music thing. :)
