Gratitude - Day 93
I'm BACK!!!! So I unofficially suspended the posting of gratitude pictures (but not the gratitude!) for the past week or so, simply out of necessity. 5 performances in 4 cities in 9 days kept me a bit occupied. Not only was I grateful to survive the week and to enjoy my concerts so completely, but at the end of it, MAN was I GRATEFUL to see the first signs of spring after my final stop in Philly. It even made up for the fact that I missed the opportunity to find a real Philly pretzel!!! I just stood under this blooming tree and gazed - oh, it felt GOOD!!!! The blue sky, the white buds, the hope, the possibility!!! I'm happy to have my camera out of its bag, to have travelled safely, and to have seen so many friends and colleagues along the way! I'm back, and most definitely grateful!

Glad to have you back, and beautiful photo--I'm so grateful for signs of spring as well! Winter in the Midwest has been far too long...
I'm also glad to have you back, and be able to enjoy more of your lovely photos. I'm hot on the trail of my next camera and spent time looking at bags, too, thanks to a good tip - hehe ! ! !
Yay spring!
I learned about your recital in Phila the day after. :( I'm just 40 min away in NJ. Next time!
We had the same beautiful blue sky in NJ on Sunday. ;) Do you use a special lens to have the blue show so vividly in the picture?
Welcome back!
I am also glad of the Spring, and excited that I'll be flying to Brussels for your recital of the 19th.
Enjoy the break, and keep us posted (bad unintentional pun...)
Had a wonderful time at your recital in New York. I hope you were allright after your tumble at the end. I was very excited you sang the composer's aria from Ariadne and hope you perform the role in New York soon. There is a rumor they will present the opera in the 2010-11 season. Any chance you'll be a part of it?
Thank you for the 'welcome back' all!! I don't know that I'm at leisure to speak about 2010-11 just yet, but I will definitely be back that season (someone touch wood, please!)
CHEERS!
Welcome back and brava on a great recital! I'm touching and knocking every piece of wood for 2010.
Oh goodness, you have no idea how much I envy you! Where I live, it's still cold and gray. The snow has finally started to melt, but there are still stubborn patches refusing to budge :(. So, yay for pictures like yours! They remind me that (thankfully!) spring is around the corner and eventually all things will be bright and beautiful again!
