Not of me, mind you, but a real glimpse into the "inner workings" of a recording session. More or less. Done by the BRILLIANT French & Saunders, brought to my attention by the even more brilliant DS - thank you, sir!
ENJOY!!

This is TOO funny!! I have to show it to my "operafan friends" !! I am so glad for you you got your laptop back, your post sounds like "Catch me if you can"... or better "Get the laptop back if you can" !! Cheers.
So which do you see yourself as Joyce, or have you elements of all 3 of them!?
- How many cats do you have now, Renata?
- Just 32...
LOL!
More or less, huh? Cute! Jennifer Saunders is hilarious.
OMG - I LOVE French and Saunders! What, no Mallomars?
LOL! There is also a skit on ballerinas. Funny as hell! :)
BTW, I listened to "I Capuleti" recorded in Vienna a week ago and Elina Garanca was *$&^$# magnificent! To me that was as good as this role can possibly be sung. That girl and you are 2 real gems we have today :)
As for Anna, altogether she was fine: she started with a horrible `Eccomi...', but than improved progressively and ended with some most brilliant singing in the 2nd act.
::walking off by singing::
Se Romeo t'uccise un figlio...
That is hysterical.
Thanks for the laugh!
They also do a lovely bit about ballet, but that's obviously less relevant.
They also do one as supers (opera extras) in Carmen. As a super myself, I can attest that that's exactly what it's like. ;) Ok not really... :)
