A Voice, a Vision, an Adventure!
Welcome to the ramblings of an international opera singer as she travels the world, searching for beauty and possibility in the world and on its stages.
I feel the same way about my black lab. Maybe, buy him a seat??
My dog was called "Joy" ;) He died 6 years ago and I still miss him. I'm also grateful because he was 11years with me and my family. Your beautiful photograph and gratitude brought me good memories, thanks, Joyce !!!
It's a BEARDIE!! (Bearded Collie). You may be a singer in love with one, but I'm a singer with one sitting at my feet... Yep, that's our family hairball! They are possibly the FRIENDLIEST dogs on the planet, and just a big hairy bundle of love. Glad you enjoyed meeting your new friend (and great picture -they're such permanently moving objects that they can be hard to photograph! That said, you have inspired me to perhaps share some photos of our guy on my own blog ... watch this space!)
Travel is one of the reasons I have, and had, Yorkies.See my current furfriend here, here or here (the magazine cover is not for real).
*sigh* Don't you just want to lay down next to that dog and get a big wet slobbery doggie kiss? Bleaachhh but wonderful at the same time. :)So how do hairy dogs see through all that hair????
I added a picture of our own guy today. You inspired me - both with the photo above, and also because I had my new "nifty fifty" 1.8 50mm lens to try out in natural light...!! Thanks, on both counts. :)divamum.blogspot.com
