I'm grateful for teachers - which can arrive in the most unexpected moments, imparting their wisdom freely. This lovely man was shooting me during a costume fitting for an upcoming article, and naturally I couldn't resist to start talking 'lenses' with him. He generously allowed me to try out a gorgeous wide-angle lens, as well as to turn the tables on him, which was not at all part of his job contract! Thank you for sharing, Mr. Osgood, and thank you for the mini-lesson!

Officially jealous.
What a fabulous time. I love this picture, both because of how you captured him but because we can see YOU in it as well!
What is the costume for!?! You look like a cake topper! So cute!
Melear - but you realize you were my first photog teacher? No need for jealousy, my friend! And being the total amateur that I am, I didn't even notice my reflection - that was just an accident, I'm afraid!
But the costume is the gorgeous final dress for Barber, in which all the sets are based on Magritte paintings; so for the final scene, the tenor and I are dressed in homage to the famous use of clouds in his paintings. Dreamy....!!
Ok, it's official. Next financial windfall, I'm buying a camera. A good one. I wanna play!!!
Love the blue dress.
